Penumbra Gallery and Studio's new space. Next door to the old Penumbra location and on the ground level of Main Street Sylva, NC.

Penumbra Gallery and Studio has moved!

Penumbra has moved to a much larger gallery and a street -level store front. Renovating a new space and moving into it has been very exciting and lots of hard work, but well worth it!

It won't be hard to find, it's right next door to the old Main Street location and has a big black and white awning . The location used to be the Schulman Department Store, one of Sylva's oldest businesses. It is with great pleasure to be following in the footsteps of such a successful businessman and great person, the late Sol Schulman.

1st Limited Edition Print

"Three Windows" is the first Limited Edition Print made by Matthew Turlington. Only 50 will ever be made and at one size only,17 x 21 inches. Pricing will increase as sales go up
in multiples of 5. As of Dec. 1, 2005, 3 have been sold, and numbers 6 - 10 will increase in price accordingly. Matthew hopes to do at least one different Limited Edition Print each year. "Three Windows" is a very personal vision, and that is why it was selected to be a Limited Edition Print.

"Main Street Christmas"

Note cards featuring two Sylva images are available. Gift boxes of 12 and 24 cards are offered and the price drops with higher quantities. You can also mix the two cards together to make a gift box.
