•4th of July Fireworks, 2008 - LINK - Cancelled and moved to Dillsboro, NC permanently.
Downtown Sylva's 4th of July Celebration . Downtown Sylva celebrates Independence Day by closing down Main Street to vehicle traffic usually a couple of hours before dark. The celebration includes live music, food vendors and kid's games. Then shortly after dark, launched from the steps of Sylva's historic courthouse, is an amazing display of fireworks.
