I have always been especially attracted to black and white photography because of the way it pares reality down to its essence of light and shadow. My personal preference is the traditional silver gelatin process for its inherent luminous dimensional qualities. I try to approach subjects in purely photographic terms, and I hope this allows the viewer to see common objects in uncommon ways.
